Community Bible reading sessions

On Sunday afternoons we are holding an open Bible reading session at the Greenmeadows Centre in Stoke. Members of the public are welcome to join us as we read and discuss God’s word the Bible.

This is a relaxed and informal environment that encourages ‘back to basics’ Bible reading and where people are free to ask questions. We will have Bibles available for you to use. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided.

Bible Predictions for the Future

The Bible contains some remarkably accurate predictions of the future. Some of these predictions have been fulfilled - the reign of Cyrus the king of Persia (who was predicted by name before he was even born), the rise of Alexander the Great, and the power of the Roman empire. The Bible even predicted the restoration of the state of Israel and the return of the Jewish people to their homeland. These fulfilled prophecies give us confidence that the Bible is the word of God, and that it can be trusted.

There are also some predictions in the Bible that have not happened yet, or have only partially happened. We are still waiting for these prophecies to be fulfilled, and the state of current affairs indicates that this may happen very soon.

Join us as we consider the Bible prophecy and what this means for the future of mankind:
