Resurrection - The Key to Life

A fundamental Christian doctrine is resurrection, which is the restoration of a dead person to life.

We believe that after Jesus Christ was crucified, he died. We also believe that three days later, he was restored to life. We do not think this is a story that has become a myth or a legend over time, but we believe the eyewitness accounts of several people who were there at the time and saw this happen. These events were carefully recorded and can be found in the New Testament of the Bible.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ was a crucial part of the faith of early Christians. In his letter to the believers at Corinth in the first century, the Apostle Paul states that ‘If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith’. (1 Cor.15:13-14 NIV).

Join us to learn about resurrection - why it is so important that Jesus was restored to life, the effect that it had on Christian believers in the first century, and what it can mean for you.
