Community Bible reading sessions
On Sunday afternoons we are holding an open Bible reading session at the Greenmeadows Centre in Stoke. Members of the public are welcome to join us as we read and discuss God’s word the Bible.
This is a relaxed and informal environment that encourages ‘back to basics’ Bible reading and where people are free to ask questions. We will have Bibles available for you to use. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided.

What Must I Believe and Do to be Saved?
When the Apostles Paul and Silas were beaten with rods and put into stocks in the jail at Philippi for preaching the gospel, they sang songs of praise to God. Suddenly during the night there was a severe earthquake which opened all the prison doors. The jailer would have been killed if the prisoners had escaped and he was going to end his own life, but Paul called out and reassured him that nobody had escaped.
The jailer was filled with fear and rushed into their cell. Falling down before them, he asked a question that would change his life: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
The answer that Paul gave is still the same answer for us today: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Join us as we consider Jesus Christ and what it means to believe on him:
