This is a relaxed and informal environment that encourages ‘back to basics’ Bible reading and where people are free to ask questions. We will have Bibles available for you to use. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided.

‘Son of God’ not ‘God the Son’

When we think of a father and a son, we usually think of two different people. They may be similar in many ways - they might look same, act in similar ways, and have similar values and opinions - but they are still two separate people. The son can choose to be a different person than his father. He could even choose to disobey his father.

The same applies to Jesus who is the is the son of God. He is like his father in many ways, but he is a separate being with free will, who had the ability to choose whether or not to be like Him, and to choose whether to obey Him.

Join us as we look at what the Bible teaches about Jesus. Did he have free will? Is he a man or is he God?
